List of participants to the CANeW Table Ronde (23-24 November 2001)

On the 23rd-24th of November 2001, an International "Table ronde" was organised in Istanbul (Turkey) on "The Neolithic of Central Anatolia, internal developments and external relations during the 9th - 6th millennia cal BC", and lasting for two days.

Location: The Table Ronde took place in the four-star Richmond Hotel, Istiklal Caddesi No. 445. The hotel is located in the Beyoglu district, directly on the famous Istiklal street.

Table Ronde system: Apart from the proposed conferences/syntheses, a substantial part of the meeting was dedicated to discussions involving all participants on a 20mn conference / 40mn debate base. All the lectures and the ensuing discussions were taped and subsequently were edited and published within six months, the format much comparable to the one used in Current Anthropology. Everybody in the audience was invited to participate in these debates and thus to contribute to the book.
